Location
John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice is located to the west of Kraków, at a distance of 11 km from the city centre. The airport can be reached from the centre of Kraków by four different roads; the airport possesses as well its own exit ramp from the A4 motorway.
Kraków-Balice International Airport is located in the south of Poland, 11 km to the west from Kraków, at the altitude of 241 m above sea level, latitude 50°06' N and longitude 19°48' E.

The 24-hour parking lot is located opposite the passenger terminal and has 756 short- and long-term parking places. The price for cars and buses is PLN 5.00 and PLN 8.00 per each started hour respectively.
The extension and the modernization of the existing parking lot were completed in mid-2000. Located opposite the passenger terminal, the parking lot can accommodate 600 vehicles, including 15 places for buses.

INFORMATION DESK
The information desk is located in the central part of the passenger terminal. It includes a phone information desk available at (+ 48 012) 295 58 00 / +48 801 055 00 and a publicly available current information visual system.

Lost Luggage Office is located in the public part next to the exit from the domestic and international arrival lounge.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS
Free Airport Shuttle Bus running every 15 minutes from the domestic terminal to the international terminal and to the railway stop makes it possible for passengers to quickly communicate between different airport facilities.
FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED
Toilets in all parts of the passenger terminal are adjusted to the disabled, and are accompanied by the escalator, lift, adjusted and profiled access routes for wheelchairs around the terminal and at the parking lot as well as professional, trained personnel of airport service ready to help you in every situation.
MOTHER AND BABY ROOM
This well-equipped room is available 24 hours a day free of charge and is located at the mezzanine in the public part of the passenger terminal.
DUTY FREE / TAX FREE
The duty free shop is situated in the international departure hall after ticket/passport control and is available to passengers of international flights. You can buy here cosmetics, alcohol, tobacco, and sweets of well-known brands as well as souvenirs.
LUGGAGE TROLLEYS
Luggage trolleys are available free of charge and without any deposit at the parking lot, at entrance to the passenger terminal and in the arrival lounge.
WIERLESS INTERNET
The public area of the passenger terminal, the departure hall, the Executive Lounge and the VIP lounge area fit with wireless access to the internet (wierless LAN).
