Dangers during your journey
If you want you’re your journey to be safe and peaceful you need to be alert and vigilant since the moment you leave home. In this way you may avoid unpleasant situations which can lower your spirits and, what is more important, they can also pose a health risk! Please read the following remarks so that, to some degree, you will be able to avoid dangers during your journey.
- remember to come to the airport two or three hours before the flight
- before you leave home, make sure that you did not take with you dangerous objects or substances - in case you are not aware which of them are dangerous please contact with your air carrier. Please remember that you are not allowed to take sharp objects on the board, like knives, scissors, nail files etc. If you want to take them you need to pack them in your suitcase.
- you need to be particularly careful in crowded places like buses, airports, railways stations. Be especially careful while getting in and getting off the bus or train.
- try to keep your handbag in the front of you, under your arm so that you avoid it being stolen.
- if you see a luggage or a package in the airport hall left alone, you need to inform the airport personnel about it immediately.
- do not leave your luggage on its own, especially your handbags, so that you avoid them being stolen
- hand luggage should be placed under the seat or in the special shelf.
- do not accept food from strangers, be mistrustful, do not strike up an acquaintance with strangers – criminals may take advantage of it!
- draw your attention to exit places and acquaint yourself with the safety procedure (you can find it in the back of the seat in front of you). Listen carefully to the instructions given by the aircraft personnel.
- remember to inform the aircraft personnel immediately if you see any danger!
- in case of a real danger do not panic, apply the instructions given by stewardess
- one more important advice – if your documents, credit cards, luggage or other valuable things are stolen, immediately inform the police.
